2020 has been a challenging time for leadership of all companies as they strive to keep employees safe and healthy while continuing to deliver iver services to their clients. This has been the case for Simplicity VoIP too.
Last month, Leslie Blackwell of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) had a virtual sit down with Ben Humphreys, Comtel Communications and Simplicity VoIP’s CEO as a contributor to their Leadership Speaks Volume series.
Humphreys brings with him over 30 years of experience in the communications industry with a specific focus on cloud-based solutions for the past 10 years.
Ben and Leslie discussed the benefits of VoIP and shares his experiences in the rapidly changing UCaaS space especially during this ”work from home” environment.
Humphreys also stated how the Simplicity VoIP team jumped into action this March to support clients with customizing their phone systems to adjust to the unusual challenges during the COVID-19 shutdown and how they can maximize the feature functionality that is part of their Simplicity VoIP phone system. With the Simplicity solution, clients can work anytime, anywhere though the cloud-based client portal and applications, including the webphone and SimplicityGO mobile app.
In addition, Humphreys noted the team’s diligent work this summer as they prepared for a significant software upgrade that delivers 10+ new features to improve efficiency, improve security, and improve collaboration for existing and new Simplicity VoIP clients.
I hope you will enjoy the full interview video and Humphreys’ perspective on leading in these complicated times.
