# Simplicity VoIP Shares "Remote Working & Business Continuity" Web Session

During the past three weeks, the country’s typical business day and the way we work has been turned upside down. We are all trying to keep valued employees and clients safe and healthy.

In the midst of COVID-19 “social distancing” directives, company owners and leaders are having to proactively address remote work set-ups and create business continuity plans overnight.

Communications is proving to be an essential lifeline for most businesses. A company’s phone system, especially a cloud-based one, can be a critical tool in supporting an operation’s efforts.

At Simplicity VoIP, we deployed our remote operations plan on March 12th to protect our employees while providing uninterrupted support for our clients.

On March 26th, Simplicity offered a short web session to provide additional support and guidance for our clients. The session covered best practices for remote environment set-up, business continuity suggestions, and a review of how cloud-based phone platforms support remote deployments.
